01 · The challenge
Where they started.
Verde Goods had plateaued at around $380K per month. Meta performance was erratic, a handful of ageing ads carried most of the spend, and email was mostly discount blasts. Every attempt to scale spend crushed profitability.
Objectives
- 01Reach $1M in monthly revenue within 9 months
- 02Hold blended ROAS above 4x while scaling
- 03Grow email and SMS to 30% of revenue
- 04Reduce reliance on discounting
02 · Strategy
The plan.
We rebuilt the account around creative diversity and contribution margin, and turned email into a full lifecycle programme rather than a promotional channel.
Creative engine
40+ new concepts per month across UGC, founder stories and product demos.
Margin-led bidding
Product-level margin data steered budgets toward profitable SKUs.
Lifecycle revenue
Twelve automated flows and segmented, story-led campaigns.
03 · Execution
How it unfolded.
Month 1
Signal repair
Implemented the Conversions API and server-side tracking, restoring 22% of lost conversion signal.
Month 1–3
Account simplification
Consolidated 38 ad sets into 6 and launched a structured weekly creative-testing cadence.
Month 2–4
Lifecycle build
Launched welcome, abandonment, post-purchase and replenishment flows in Klaviyo.
Month 4–9
Scale
Expanded into TikTok and Performance Max once Meta efficiency was stable.

06 · Business impact
The result.
Verde Goods crossed $1M in monthly revenue for the first time while improving contribution margin. The lifecycle programme now drives a third of all revenue, making the business far less exposed to rising ad costs.

They tested more creative in a month than we had in a year. We hit our first million-dollar month with better margins than when we were half the size.
